Project Overview
In June 2019, our team successfully delivered a 2,000 m² cold chain storage warehouse project for the 12th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC), Xishan Farm.
The facility consists of:
- One 0℃ to +10℃ cold storage room for fresh produce and general storage.
- One -18℃ frozen storage room for long-term preservation.
Both warehouses are designed with centralized control to ensure operational efficiency, while adopting energy-efficient refrigeration solutions to reduce operating costs. The design also complies with the main requirements outlined in the URS (User Requirement Specification).
Technical Specifications
1. Facility Scale
- Total area: 2,000 m²
- Height: 6.5 m
- Total volume: 13,000 m³
- Layout: one cold room (1,000 m²) and one freezer room (1,000 m²).
2. Refrigeration System
- 0℃ ~ +10℃ Cold Storage Room: Equipped with Emerson Copeland Scroll Compressor Units (USA), complete with condenser, solenoid valve, and pressure controller.
- -18℃ Freezer Room: Powered by Refcomp Screw Compressor Parallel Units (Italy), including condenser, solenoid valve, oil separator, and pressure controller.
- Both rooms feature high-efficiency air coolers (DL and DJ series) supplied by Kaidi, Zhejiang, China, ensuring rapid cooling and uniform airflow.
3. Insulation & Construction
- Cold storage room (0℃ ~ +10℃): 100 mm polyurethane sandwich panel with double-sided color steel.
- Freezer room (-18℃): 150 mm polyurethane sandwich panel with double-sided color steel.
- All panels meet B1-grade fire resistance standards, ensuring durability and safety.
4. Control System
- The project is equipped with the New Asia full-automatic temperature control system, featuring:
- Automatic temperature regulation
- Temperature & humidity alarm
- Data recording and traceability
- Remote monitoring via mobile application
