Project Overview
Shenyang 3SBio Inc., a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of biological medicines, required a advanced multi-temperature cold storage logistics facility. This project, located in the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Shenyang, Liaoning Province, was designed and constructed by Haoshuang Refrigeration to meet stringent GMP/GSP standards. The 3000m² warehouse features multiple temperature zones:
- 2-8°C refrigerated storage
- 15-20°C / 20-25°C constant temperature storage
- -25°C frozen storage
The facility also maintains humidity levels between 35% and 75%, with fully automated temperature and humidity control.

Technical Solution
1. Refrigeration System
- Compressors: German-made Bitzer semi-hermetic piston parallel units for high stability and efficiency.
- Evaporators: Customized long-distance air supply evaporators from Haoshuang for rapid cooling, even temperature distribution, and efficient defrosting.
- Refrigerant: Environmentally friendly R404a.
2. Insulation Structure
- Refrigerated Storage (2-8°C): 120mm polyurethane double-sided color steel panels.
- Constant Temperature Storage (15-25°C): 100mm polyurethane double-sided color steel panels.
- Frozen Storage (-25°C): 150mm polyurethane double-sided color steel panels.
Advantages: Moisture-proof, fire-resistant (B1 grade), and excellent thermal insulation to reduce energy consumption.
3. Control & Monitoring
- Fully automated imported temperature control system with real-time monitoring, data logging, and mobile alerts.
- PLC-based programmable logic control for customized temperature and humidity adjustments.
- Backup generator and dual-circuit power supply to ensure 24/7 operation.
4. Validation & Compliance
- The facility passed a one-month validation period and performance challenge tests, fully complying with GMP/GSP standards.
