Project Overview
This project, located in Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province, covers a total construction area of 3,888 square meters, with 18 independent controlled-atmosphere (CA) cold rooms. The project was designed and completed within a 60-day construction period, providing advanced preservation solutions for local apple production and other agricultural products.
Key Requirements
- Preservation Function: Provide a long-term, stable CA environment for Yanyuan apples and other agricultural products to minimize spoilage and maximize economic returns.(Apples can be stored for 6–8 months without quality degradation.)
- Temperature Control: Maintain a precise temperature range of 0°C to +5°C (32°F to 41°F) with minimal fluctuations to prevent freezing or decay.
- Zoning Flexibility: The 18 independent rooms allow for partitioned, variety-specific, and time-sensitive storage, catering to multiple cooperatives and farmers simultaneously.
- Automation & Reliability: Utilize intelligent control systems for unmanned operation, remote monitoring, and reduced dependency on local technical expertise.
Technical Specifications
A. Storage Structure
- 18 Independent CA Rooms: Each room features individualized control of temperature, humidity, and gas composition (O₂, CO₂).
- Insulation: 100mm–150mm thick B1-rated polyurethane sandwich panels with double-sided color steel/stainless steel and high-standard airtight design.
B. Refrigeration System
- Compressors: High-efficiency scroll or screw parallel units (tailored to simultaneous operational rates), using eco-friendly refrigerants (R507A/R134a).
- Cooling Technology: Variable frequency adjustment, multi-stage defrosting, and optimized airflow ensure uniform and stable conditions.
C. CA System
- Gas Regulation: Nitrogen generators (PSA/membrane separation), CO₂ scrubbers, ethylene removers, and real-time O₂/CO₂ sensors.
- Control System: Advanced centralized control system (e.g., Siemens, Schneider) for monitoring and adjusting temperature, humidity, gas levels, and equipment status.
D. Automation & Monitoring
- Remote management capabilities with real-time alerts and data logging.
- Automated defrosting and energy-saving modes to reduce operational costs.
