Project Overview:
Haocool partnered with Mission Foods Malaysia to design and build a high-efficiency food cold storage facility that ensures the quality and freshness of the company’s frozen flatbread and tortilla products. The project included a 10–15°C food processing area and a -18°C to -20°C frozen storage room.
To meet Mission Foods’ strict international standards, Haocool’s engineering team customized an energy-efficient refrigeration system using world-renowned compressor and control brands. Construction began in January 2017 and was completed in May 2017, with the system fully operational and performing reliably since delivery.
Storage Capacity & Performance:
- Total storage volume: approximately 2,500 cubic meters
- Total storage capacity: around 600 tons of frozen food products
- Average power consumption: optimized at 25–30 kWh per cubic meter per year, thanks to the use of advanced energy-saving components
- Project duration: 4 months from design to commissioning
