Project Overview
This project involved the design and construction of a comprehensive cold storage facility for Hubei Huatong Huimin Food’s pork slaughterhouse. The facility consists of 8 cold storage rooms, including seven pre-cooling rooms (-4°C to 4°C) and one freezing room (-28°C). The solution prioritizes energy efficiency, centralized control, and compliance with URS requirements.
Key Requirements
1.Temperature Control:
- Pre-cooling rooms: -4°C to 4°C (24.8°F to 39.2°F)
- Freezing room: -28°C (-18.4°F)
2.Centralized Management: Real-time monitoring and control of all storage units.
3.Energy Efficiency: Optimize operational costs through advanced equipment and insulation.
4.Compliance: Meet URS specifications and industry standards.
Technical Solution
1. Refrigeration System
- Pre-Cooling Rooms: Three sets of 90HP Bitzer screw compressor units (parallel configuration) for high cooling capacity and reliability.
- Freezing Room: One set of 70HP Fusheng low-temperature screw compressor unit for efficient freezing at -28°C.
- Evaporators: Zhejiang kaideli series high-efficiency air coolers ensure rapid cooling, uniform temperature distribution, and efficient defrosting.
2. Insulation Structure
- Pre-Cooling Rooms: 100mm polyurethane double-sided color steel panels.
- Freezing Room: 200mm polyurethane double-sided color steel panels with B2 fire resistance rating, providing superior thermal insulation and moisture resistance.
3. Control & Monitoring System
- Fully automated imported temperature control system with features including:
- Real-time temperature and humidity monitoring.
- Alarm notifications for deviations.
- Data logging and remote access via mobile client.
