This large-scale cold chain logistics project in Meishan integrates food processing, fresh product storage, and Chinese herbal medicine preservation. The facility supports multiple temperature zones from -18°C to +10°C, ensuring flexible operation for diverse agricultural and food processing needs.

The entire cold chain complex consists of three main buildings:

• Building #4: Dual-story reinforced concrete structure (14.15m high), designed for chilled storage of fresh and cooked food.
• Building #5: Two-story logistics and transfer warehouse (13.55m high), providing efficient cargo handling and distribution.
• Building #6: Two-story storage warehouse for traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, featuring stable temperature and humidity control.

Client’s Challenge

Before construction, the client faced several challenges:

• Lack of integrated storage and processing capability, resulting in product losses.
• High energy consumption from outdated refrigeration systems.
• Limited temperature control precision affecting product shelf life.

Our Solution

Haocool Refrigeration provided a turnkey solution combining insulation engineering, advanced CO₂ and screw compressor systems, and intelligent PLC controls.

Key Design Highlights:

• Insulated Structure:
  • 100mm PIR polyurethane panels (B1 flame retardant grade)
  • 200mm polyurethane wall insulation and 150mm ceiling insulation
  • Electric sliding cold room doors with manual override and low-temperature alarm system
• Refrigeration System:
  • Combined screw and piston compressor parallel units
  • Dual control modes (manual & automatic) with energy optimization
  • Evaporative and air-cooled condensers with anti-corrosion treatment
• Electrical & Control System:
  • PLC intelligent control cabinet with touch-screen interface
  • Real-time temperature and defrost monitoring
  • LED lighting, power cabling, and galvanized cable trays
• Piping & Installation:
• Seamless steel and copper pipelines with B1-level flame-retardant insulation
• Vacuum and pressure tests to ensure safety and reliability

After 6 months of construction, the cold chain logistics center was successfully delivered and commissioned.
